SFPD Seek Public's Assistance in Locating Suspect Wanted in Hit & Run

On 12/31/2013 at approximately at 9:45 am a pedestrian was walking W/B Turk Street in the south crosswalk on a green light. A vehicle (black BMW) ran red the light, struck the pedestrian, backed up and stopped. A female driver got out of the car and walked away. Her boyfriend got into the drivers’ seat and drove away W/B Turk Street. Both of them were arrested and booked at Tenderloin Police Station.

As a result of the collision impact, the pedestrian was thrown into the intersection and in the path of a white van, which ran the victim over. The white van backed up and parked along the south curb line on Turk Street. The driver of the white van never identified himself to Police at the scene and eventually drove away, in violation of felony hit and run. The victim was hospitalized and continues to recover.

The two suspects taken into custody are Veronica Gonzalez, 33 y/o booked on felony hit and run, suspended drivers’ license and no insurance and Ivan Roldan 25 y/o booked for accessory after the fact, suspended license and failure to properly secure a child in restraint system/child seat ( 1 yr. old child in back seat)

Information on the outstanding suspect and vehicle:

Other male, 30-40 yrs. old. with a blue/white checkered shirt.
Vehicle: White 86-87 Dodge or Ford van.
Fled W/B on Turk Street.
