SFPD Arrests Prolific Narcotics Trafficker 24-162

Officers seized almost $4,000 in US Currency and over 9,000 grams of narcotics

During the past month, members of the SFPD Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation of a suspected narcotics trafficker. The investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as 35-year-old male Bryan Burgos, was actively selling narcotics in the area of 6th and Market Streets in San Francisco. The Narcotics Unit officers developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the suspect, the suspect’s vehicle, and residence located in San Francisco.

On Thursday, December 26, 2024, members of the SFPD narcotics unit along with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office surveilled Burgos to the area of Mission and 24th Streets where he was detained without incident. Officers conducted a search of Burgos which revealed suspected narcotics and US currency on his person that was seized.

Officers continued to then conduct a search of Burgos’ vehicle and residence located in San Francisco. Officers located and seized over 9,000 grams of suspected narcotics, digital scales, a money counter, loaded firearms, ammunition, and US currency.

Officers developed probable cause to arrest Burgos who was booked into San Francisco County Jail for numerous narcotics charges and possession of firearms.
