SFPD Promotional Ceremony 24-079
On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the San Francisco Police Department held a promotional ceremony at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center to honor the 71 men and women of the San Francisco Police Department who have been promoted to the rank of Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captains, Commanders, Deputy Chiefs, and Assistant Chief over the last three years. These members represent decades of valuable experience that will be passed down through the ranks for generations to come. SFPD will continue to eagerly recruit future members to work alongside our dedicated officers to rebuild our ranks and continue to focus on public safety.
In all endeavors, leadership is critical for success. It is evident that the San Francisco Police Department has some of the best leaders who have demonstrated they can lead, encourage, and support the continued growth of the department.
Many leaders including Mayor London Breed, Board of Supervisors member Rafael Mandelman, Police Commissioners, and former Chiefs and Commissioners came to honor and congratulate the following members on their outstanding achievements.
