SFPD Request Public Help Locating Dog Theft Suspect

 

On March 12, 2016, Officers responded to a store on the 1300 blk. of Divisadero Street regarding the theft of a dog that occurred the day before. The Victim was in the store with his dog. After picking up some items, the Victim could not find his dog. The Victim went to the store manager who found video surveillance of the suspect stealing the dog and leaving the store. The manager and Victim were able to get a copy of the video on March 12, 2016 and contacted SFPD.

In this incident, the suspect stole the Victim’s 5 year old male ½ Chihuahua, ½ poodle dog named “Catfish.” A photo of Catfish accompanies this press release.

The suspect is described as an adult male, last seen wearing a red shirt and camouflage type pants. A photo of the suspect accompanies this press release.
