SFPD Public Safety Event, Blessing Scam Awareness

San Francisco Police will hold a Public Safety event on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 9:30 am at Portsmouth Square.

The event will focus on providing the public with information regarding Chinese Blessing Scams.

Members of the SFPD, representatives of the DA's Office, the Chinatown Community Development Center, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Community Youth Center, Self Help for the Elderly and volunteers will be present to pass out shopping bags. The bags have been sponsored by the Chinese Chamber and the Chinese Community Health Plan (CCHP) and with fliers from SF SAFE.
