Suspect Arrested in Sixth Street Stabbing Investigation

San Francisco Police have arrested Kevin Ferreyra, 21, a Richmond City resident for Robbery, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Battery with Serious Injuries related to a stabbing over the past weekend.

On March 28th, 2015 at approximately 1:10 AM, San Francisco Police Officers responded to the 200 block of 6th Street. Officers located the victim, who suffered stab wounds on his chest and arm after the suspect stabbed him during a robbery. Responding officers rendered aide while an ambulance was called to the scene.

Officers from Southern Station canvassed the area and located a person matching the suspect description, near Minna and Russ Streets. They detained the man, later identified as Ferreya. Officers recovered evidence and developed probable cause to arrest Ferreya who was then taken into custody without incident.

The investigation is on-going and investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information regarding the case.
