Suspect Arrested in Novato, CA
On May 2, 2025, at approximately 12:42 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to a residence on the 3000 block of 26th Street on a report of a possible shooting. Officers arrived on the scene and located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail led the investigation. Through the course of their investigation, investigators identified 21-year-old Trayvon Williams of San Francisco as the suspect involved in the homicide and developed probable cause to obtain an arrest and search warrant.
On May 7, 2025, Williams was taken into custody in Novato, California. With the collaborative efforts of the San Francisco Police Department, Novato Police Department, and Marin County Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Williams was booked into San Francisco County Jail for the charge of murder (187(a)PC).
