SFPD Chief William Scott Announces Additional Command Staff Assignments

On Friday, March 10, 2017 San Francisco Police Chief William Scott announced the assignment of several Captains to District Station positions.

• Captain Paul Yep was assigned from Richmond Station to Central Station.
• Captain Alexa O’Brien was assigned from the Investigations Bureau to Richmond Station.
• Captain Bill Griffin was assigned from the Airport Bureau to Mission Station.

These transfers are part of Chief Scott’s organizational plan to place members into positions that enhance organizational effectiveness giving the Department the best opportunity to implement reforms, service the needs of our communities and build the skills of talented police managers.
