Department Policy Public Input

As a commitment to the Collaborative Reform Initiative’s public input process, SFPD launched a portal to collect public comment on all Department General Orders (DGOs) going through the revision process. This page will publicly post draft DGOs for 30 business days when they reach the public review development phase, as directed by DGO 3.01 Department Written Directives. This page will also include the SFPD and Department of Police Accountability (DPA) joint responses to public comments received on each draft DGO. The draft DGO will be removed from this page when the 30-day public review period closes.
