REWARD $10,000.00 Homicide Victim ALFONSO MERCADO-HERNANDEZ The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $10,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the subjects responsible for the death of Alfonso Mercado- Hernandez. On June 9, 2005, Mr. Mercado-Hernandez was driven in his vehicle to John F. Shelley Drive in McLaren Park, where he was shot and killed prior to his vehicle being set on fire. The two suspects involved in the shooting and subsequent arson then fled the scene on foot. Persons with any information regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Alphonso Mercado-Hernandez are urged to contact Inspector John Cleary or Inspector Mike Mahoney of the S.F.P.D.
