$25,000 REWARD Victim Alex Apalit The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect responsible for the murder of Alex Apalit. On April 18, 2009 at 9:15 P.M., Alex Apalit was shot and killed on Otsego Ave. near the intersection of Santa Ynez. Alex was the passenger in a vehicle traveling northbound on Otsego.
