On Monday, February 16, 1970, at approximately 10:44 P.M., San Francisco Police Sergeant Brian McDonnell was murdered while standing in the business office of Golden Gate Park Police Station. Sergeant McDonnell’s injuries were caused by the explosion of a bomb placed near a station window.

On Friday, June 19, 1970, at approximately 5:25 A.M., San Francisco Police Officer Richard Radetich was murdered while sitting in police vehicle 390 parked in front of 643 Waller Street. Officer Radetich was survived by a wife and an eight-month-old daughter at the time of his death.

Marissa Harvey
The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $250,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) responsible for the thirty-year-old murder of Marissa Harvey.
On Monday, March 27, 1978, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Marissa Harvey, 15 years
old, who was here from New York to visit her sister, was dropped off in Golden Gate Park on 44th or 45th Avenue near the windmill to go horseback riding. Ms. Harvey failed to return home that evening or contact her sister.
On Tuesday, March 28, 1978, at 1951 hours, Officers responded to 48th Avenue and Anza (Sutro Park) on a report of a dead body, and discovered Marissa Harvey's body, who had been murdered.
