SFPD Arrest Pair in SOMA Nightclub Homicide

On June 5, 2016 at 2:06 AM, San Francisco Police officers from Southern Station were on patrol in the area of 6th and Folsom Street when they heard gun shots.  The officers began a search of the area and saw patrons rushing out of a nightclub on the 400 block of 6th Street. The officers were directed into the nightclub where they located the victim- a 19 year-old male and San Francisco resident-suffering from gunshot wounds.  The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he later died.

The SFPD Homicide Detail began an investigation which led to the identifying of two suspects and probable cause to arrest.  On June 15, 2016 at 4:00 AM, Homicide investigators, aided by the SFPD Tactical Unit, served a search warrant on the unit block of Dedman Court. Taken into custody was Charles Gardner, a 25- year old San Francisco male.  Gardner was later booked into San Francisco County Jail for homicide, being a member of a street gang and carrying a concealed weapon. 

Also taken into custody was Terrance Webb, a 37 year-old male.  With the assistance of the Hayward Police Department Tactical Unit, Webb was arrested at his residence in Hayward, CA on the morning of June 15, 2016.  He was booked at the San Francisco County Jail on charges of homicide and being a member of a street gang.
