SFPD Make Arrest in Tenderloin District Homicide

On April 2nd, 2017, at 2:38 PM San Francisco Police officers responded to the unit block of Jones Street regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found 31 year-old San Francisco resident Antonio Stansberry laying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. San Francisco Fire Department paramedics responded and rendered aid, but Stansberry unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital. SFPD Homicide Investigators commenced an investigation that led to the identity of the suspects. On April 4th at approximately 3:15 PM Sacramento Police Department officers located and arrested 33 year-old Vallejo resident Johnnie Reed and 24 year-old, Vallejo resident Tiana Jacobs in Sacramento, California. SFPD Homicide Investigators were notified and after interviews, Reed was charged with murder and Jacobs was charged with accessory to the crime. Reed and Jacobs were booked into San Francisco County Jail. Due to pending identification matters, the subjects’ photos will not be released at this time.
