SFPD Make Arrest in Bayview District Homicide (17-063)

On January 29, 2017, at 12:38 PM San Francisco Police officers responded to the 1600 block of Armstrong Avenue in the Bayview district regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim, 27 year-old South San Francisco resident, Justin Willis laying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. San Francisco Fire Department paramedics responded and rendered aid, but unfortunately Willis succumbed to his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital.  

San Francisco Police Homicide Investigators commenced an investigation that led to the identity of the suspects. On April 27, 2017, at approximately 5:02 AM, SFPD Homicide, Special Investigations, and Gang Task Force Investigators responded to the unit block of N. Idaho Street in San Mateo. With assistance from the San Mateo County North Central Regional (NCR) SWAT Team, they located and arrested 20 year-old, male, San Francisco resident, Brejon Jackson, and 19 year-old, female, San Mateo resident, Nakida Lampkins. After interviews with Homicide Investigators, Jackson was charged with murder while Lampkins was charged with being an accessory to the crime. Jackson and Lampkins were both booked into San Francisco County Jail.

Due to pending identification matters, the subjects’ photos will not be released at this time.
