San Francisco Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC) Makes Arrest in Internet Child Pornography Investigation (17-068)

In March 2017 the San Francisco Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit began an investigation into an individual who was uploading graphic child pornography online. As the result of the investigation the ICAC unit was able to identify the suspect as Douglas Forrester, a forty-seven year old San Francisco resident. On May 2, 2017 SFPD investigators served a search warrant on Forrester’s residence in San Francisco on the 200 block of Noe Street. Forrester was detained in his residence during the service of the search warrant. During the service of the search warrant, investigators located hundreds of child pornography files on numerous media devices. Forrester was charged with possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, and possession of over 600 files of child pornography.
