San Francisco Police Make Arrest in Northern District Homicide (17-070)

On May 4, 2017, at 2:22 AM San Francisco Police officers responded to McAllister Street and Larkin Street in the Northern District regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim, 20 year-old San Francisco resident, Christian Centano laying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. San Francisco Fire Department paramedics responded and rendered aid, but unfortunately Centano succumbed to his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital.

San Francisco Police Homicide Investigators commenced an investigation that led to the identity of the suspects. On May 5, 2017, at approximately 5:34 PM SFPD officers from Tenderloin Station located and arrested 34 year-old, Windell Lightle, and 31 year-old Christina Bryant, both Daly City residents, on the 100 block of Leavenworth Street. After interviews with Homicide Investigators, Lightle and Bryant were booked into San Francisco County Jail for murder and conspiracy charges.

Due to pending identification matters, the subjects’ photos will not be released at this time.
