SFPD Seeking the Public’s Assistance in Burglary

Suspect from Waverly Jewelry Burglary

On Friday, March 24, 2017 at approximately 3:04 PM, a suspect broke the store front window of a jewelry store located on the 100 block of Waverly Place in the Chinatown district. The suspect stole approximately $100,000 worth of jewelry. The suspect was last seen running away from the jewelry store southbound on Waverly Place and then eastbound on Sacramento Street.

The suspect is described as Black or Hispanic male in his twenties, wearing jeans, a dark jacket, and a red and green top. Photos and surveillance footage of the suspect accompany this news release.
