SFPD Community Advisory Regarding August 26, 2017 Events (17-130)

The various First Amendment activities that took place throughout the City today have concluded peacefully. There were no injuries reported at any of the events. One person was arrested this morning for public intoxication near Alamo Square.

The San Francisco Police Department will maintain a police presence at Alamo Square Park and in the surrounding neighborhood. At this hour, Alamo Square Park remains closed.

The men and women of the SFPD would like to thank San Francisco residents and our local, state and federal partners for their support during today’s events. Public safety is our number one priority and we are proud to serve the city we are sworn to protect.
