San Francisco Police Academy’s 282nd Class Graduation 025-24
The San Francisco Police Department’s 282nd Recruit Class will be sworn in on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, by San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott. There are 12 graduating recruit officers. Six graduates are bilingual and fluent in languages such as Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
The 282nd Recruit Class has 6 members who have earned bachelor’s degrees or associate degrees. Class members have previously been employed as restaurant managers, athletes, parking enforcement, construction, software engineers, and SFPD cadets to name a few. One officer was a member of the Royal Irish Rangers.
The 282nd Recruit Class has completed 34 weeks of training. Following graduation, the newly sworn SFPD officers will begin a 16-week field training program at various district stations.
