SFPD Investigates Homicide in the Mission District 24-080

On July 24, 2024, at approximately 5:41 p.m., San Francisco Police officers from Mission Station responded to 16th and Mission streets regarding a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and medics arrived on scene and transported the victim to the hospital for life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of the emergency responders and medical staff the victim succumbed to their injuries and was declared deceased in the hospital.
