San Francisco Police Investigates Mission District Homicide 23-147
On November 25, 2023, at approximately 12:25 a.m., San Francisco Police officers from Mission Station responded to the area of 24th Street and Potrero Avenue regarding a vehicle collision with injuries. While en route, dispatch advised that a vehicle had struck a business on the 1100 block of Potrero Avenue.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 27-year-old male and a 34-year-old male who both had life-threatening injuries from apparent stab wounds.
The preliminary investigation determined the two males were stabbed at another location and may have been attempting to self-transport to a nearby hospital.
Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene who transported both males to the hospital. Despite the life-saving efforts of first responders and medical staff, the 27-year-old male succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
