SFPD Investigates Bayview District Homicide 23-137

On October 29, 2023, at approximately 4:13 pm, San Francisco Police Officers assigned to Bayview Station responded to the area of Bayshore Boulevard and Cortland Avenue on a report of a person stabbed.  

Upon arrival, officers located two males suffering from apparent stab wounds. Officers rendered aid and summoned paramedics to the scene. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the victims to the hospital. Both victims had life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of medical personnel, one of the victims was pronounced deceased at the hospital.  

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department Homicide detail are investigating this incident.
