SFPD Make Arrest in Northern District Homicide 18-140

On Sunday, August 19th 2018 at approximately 10:25 PM, San Francisco Police officers responded to Larkin Street and Geary Street regarding a stabbing. Officers located 41 year-old San Francisco resident Scott Turner laying on the ground, suffering from several stab wounds. San Francisco Fire Department paramedics responded and rendered aid, but Turner unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.

The SFPD Homicide detail commenced an investigation that led to the identity of the suspect. On October 20th 2018, Tenderloin Station officers located and arrested 22 year-old Daly City resident Zachary Green in the Tenderloin district.

Green was charged with murder and booked into San Francisco County Jail. Due to pending identification matters, his booking photo will not be released at this time.
