SFPD Investigates Richmond District Homicide 23-109

On August 24, 2023, at approximately 9:31 p.m., San Francisco Police Officers from Richmond District responded to the 3900 block of Balboa Street to investigate a reported robbery and aggravated assault. SFPD Officers arrived on scene and located a 60-year-old male victim lying on the ground and unconscious. Officers summoned medics to the scene who transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

On August 29, 2023, despite lifesaving efforts made by hospital medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.  

SFPD Homicide Detail is leading the investigation. No arrest has been made at this time.
