SFPD Investigates Bayview District Homicide 23-101

On Friday, August 4, 2023, at approximately 11:10 p.m., SFPD officers responded to the 1000 block of Quesada Ave. for possible gunshots they heard and reports of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene who transported the victim to the hospital for life-threatening injuries. Despite the life-lifesaving efforts of officers, emergency responders, and hospital staff, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.  

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail arrived on scene and are leading this open and active investigation.
