SFPD Arrests Ocean Avenue Attempted Homicide Suspect 23-094
On June 10, 2023, at approximately 11:54 p.m., San Francisco Police officers assigned to Ingleside Station responded to a business on the 300 block of Ocean Avenue on a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived on scene, they located two adult male victims and one adult female victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. The victims were transported to a local hospital and treated for their injuries. Investigators from the SFPD Night Investigations Unit (NIU) led the investigation with assistance from investigators from the Community Violence Response Team (CVRT).
The suspect was identified as 42-year-old San Francisco resident, Salvador Rodriguez. Investigators obtained search and arrest warrants for Rodriguez and his home. On July 27, 2023, investigators took Rodriguez into custody on the 400 block of County Center Drive in Redwood City. Rodriguez was transported to San Francisco County Jail where he was booked on one count of attempted homicide (664/187 PC) and two counts of assault with a firearm (245(a)(2) PC).
