$25,000 REWARD The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Xavier Gillette. HOMICIDE VICTIM XAVIER GILLETTE On Friday, July 10, 2009, at approximately 11:20 PM, Xavier Gillette and his friend Tremayne Brown were hanging out in the area of McAllister and Webster Streets. According to witnesses, a vehicle approached the corner. Several African-American males got out of the vehicle and started shooting. Both Gillette and Brown were shot. Both victims were taken to San Francisco General Hospital. Xavier Gillette succumbed to his injuries. Tremayne Brown was treated and released.
