$25,000 REWARD The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Tydis James. HOMICIDE VICTIM TYDIS JAMES On August 15, 2007, at 11:05 PM, Tydis James was shot and killed in front of 1210 Newhall Street. The victim (age 17), died at the scene. The suspect is described as a black male, 16-23 years old, wearing a black hat, black pants and a sweatshirt with gold and black print.
