$10,000.00 REWARD Mayor Gavin Newsome has authorized a reward of $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person (‘s) responsible for the death of CHARLES BAKER. On May 9th, 2005, at approximately 3:45 PM, Charles Baker was shot by an unknown gunman as he was standing on the front stairs of his house near the intersection of Kirkwood and Mendell Streets in San Francisco. Charles subsequently died two days later at San Francisco General Hospital as a result of being shot on 05-09-2005. Based on the witness accounts, it appeared that Charles was an unintended victim of the shooting. Charles Baker left behind a wife and two young children.
