SFPD Investigates Larch Way Homicide 22-127

On September 6, 2022, at approximately 11:17 p.m., San Francisco Police officers assigned to Northern Station responded to the area of Turk Street and Buchanan Street regarding a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a possible shooting on the 600 block of Larch Way, but were unable to locate a victim at the scene.  

On September 6, 2022, at approximately 11:24 p.m., dispatch advised officers that a 21-year-old male victim was dropped off at a local hospital suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. It was determined that this was the victim of the shooting.  

Despite the lifesaving efforts of the medical staff the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital on September 8, 2022. 

This investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail.
