San Francisco Police Arrest Bayview Shooting Suspects 20-045

On Saturday, April 11, 2020, at approximately 5:40 PM, San Francisco Police officers assigned to Bayview Station responded to the 1500 block of Oakdale Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers met with a female victim who said that she was home when she heard the sound of gunfire outside. A bullet went through her window. The victim said she grabbed her two children and ran to the back of the house. Officers located bullet fragments and spent shell casings from multiple guns in the area.

Investigators from SFPD’s Crime Gun Investigations Center took over the investigation, which led to the identity of three suspects involved in the shooting. San Francisco Police officers served multiple search warrant, which led to the arrest of 31-year-old Desean Watson of San Francisco, 32-year-old Terrell Franklin of Oakland, and 39-year-old Terry Franklin of San Francisco. In addition to the arrests officers located and seized two firearms. All three suspects were booked at San Francisco County Jail. Watson was booked on charges of attempted murder, negligent discharge of a firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm. Terry Franklin was booked on charges of attempted murder, negligent discharge of a firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm. Terrell Franklin was booked on charges of attempted murder, negligent discharge of a firearm and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
