Park Station - Officer of the Month - September 2018
Park Station’s Officer of the Month of September is Officer Howard Brown #1243! Officer Brown is assigned to the midnight watch at Park Police Station, where he primarily addresses traffic enforcement issues.
Officer Brown has been with SFPD for 13 years, and has been at Park Station for 11 years. Officer Brown completed SFPD’s Field Training Program at Ingleside Station, assigned to Taraval Station for his probation period, and transferred to Park Station for his permanent assignment.
Before being hired by SFPD, Officer Brown worked for General Services Administration (GSA) Department in Alameda County. In 2000, Officer Brown attended Sierra Academy of Aeronautics, where he received an airframe and power plant license and certificate.
While off duty, Officer Brown enjoys building classic cars, and his most recent build was a 1970 Z28 Camaro.
