April is Distracted Driving Awareness month. It’s not only dangerous to use your handheld phone or other electronics while driving, its against the law. One text or call could be all it takes to cause a serious accident. It can wait, and if it can not, pull over. When finished reenter the roadway safely.

Distracted drivers often do not see or hear emergency vehicles, even with lights and sirens going. Remember if you see an emergency vehicle with their lights and sirens on, please pull over to the right so they can pass. Someone's life may depend on how fast that emergency vehicle gets to where it is going.
