Bullitt Movie 45th Anniversary

The Mayor will issue a proclamation to the family of actor Steve McQueen in honor of the 45th anniversary of the motion picture Bullitt. The event will take place on the steps of City Hall at 11am.

San Francisco Police Department was the featured agency in the film. SFPD Retired Sergeant Frank Panacci #1491, who was on the film set, will be in attendance. Also, SFPD Officer Neil Cunningham’s personal vehicle will serve as the featured replica 1968 Ford Mustang that was used during the filming of the movie.

San Francisco Police Commissioner, Thomas Mazzucco will be in attendance. Members of the Bullitt Mustang Association will also be in attendance.
