SFPD Seek Muni Attempted Robbery Suspect Armed with Handgun

On 6/20/13 at approximately 4:20pm, San Francisco police officers responded to a call of an attempted robbery which occurred aboard a MUNI coach, in the area of Market and 11th Streets where the suspect was armed with a handgun.

In this incident, the suspect boarded the bus and walked to the rear of the bus where he sat next to two juvenile victims. The suspect then demanded both victims’ cell phone and displayed a silver handgun. The juveniles went to the front of the bus and advised the driver of the incident. The suspect then fled the MUNI coach and fled on foot westbound on Market Street.

The suspect was described as a black male, 20-21 years of age, 6’1”, 180lbs, wearing a white t-shirt, gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, slight facial hair, and curly hair on his head.
