SFPD Arrest Suspect from Turk & Leavenworth Homicide

On July 20, 2013, Emmett Byron was shot on the 200 block of Turk Street near Leavenworth. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he died from his injuries on August 19, 2013. On October 7, 2013, SFPD Homicide Investigators arrested Leonard Colvin, 41, of San Francisco, for the murder of Emmett Byron.

The police department is continuing to investigate this homicide.
