SFPD Make Two Arrests in Two Separate Homicides

The San Francisco Police Department’s Homicide Detail has arrested 22 year old Kenyon Norbert and his brother, 21 year old Kishawn Norbert for the murders of Willie Cain and Keith Zinn.

Mr. Cain was shot and killed on the unit block of Brookdale in the early morning hours of July 7, 2014. Several hours later on the same day, Mr. Zinn was shot on the unit block of Ironwood in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood and later succumbed to his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital.

The Norbert brothers were detained early this morning on Third Street in the Bayview. They were booked at the San Francisco County Jail on two counts of murder and probation and parole violations.

“These arrests are a constructive step forward,” said Supervisor Malia Cohen. “We cannot reverse the tragic deaths that resulted from the shootings, but we will hold the individuals responsible for these events accountable and ensure that the families of the victims get the justice they deserve.”

These are still open and active investigations. Anyone who may have witnessed something, or with information, is urged to contact San Francisco Police anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message. There are no booking photos available, because this is still an open investigation with identification matters pending.
