SFPD Arrest Suspects in Crocker Amazon Park Double Homicide

The San Francisco Police Department’s Homicide Detail has made two arrests in a double homicide that occurred in the morning hours of March 9, 2015 at the Crocker Amazon Park in the Ingleside District. In this incident, 18 year old Kenyatta Butler and 19 year old Donzel Gaines were gunned down as they sat in their car in the parking lot adjacent to the soccer fields. Butler was pronounced deceased at the scene and Gaines, who was shot multiple times, was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

On March 26, 2015, homicide investigators arrested 21 year old Davante Robinson and 21 year old Gregory Morton III for the murders. The arrest came as a result of an investigative collaboration with Daly City Police Department and San Francisco Police Department’s Ingleside Station and Gang Task Force unit. Due to pending identification matters, booking photos will not be released at this time.
