SFPD Seeks Public's Assistance in Locating Aggravated Assault Suspect

San Francisco Police investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a violent aggravated assault suspect.

On May 9, 2015 at approximately 11:05 am, the victim was walking near the intersection of Grant and Geary. The suspect, for no reason, called the victim a derogatory name and attacked the victim by punching her in the face and knocking her to the ground. The suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim, a 38 year old female, received a serious injury to her face. She received medical treatment at the Emergency Room that day, and she is still receiving treatment for the injury.

To date, video evidence in the case has not panned out. We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. He is described as a male, white about 5”6” brown hair wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and dirty shoes. A composite sketch accompanies this press release.
