SFPD Arrest Suspect in October, 2014 Bayview District Homicide Investigation

On Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:31PM, San Francisco Police Officers from Bayview Station responded to a shooting on the 200 block of Harbor Road. Responding officers found the victim, a 21 year old male, San Francisco resident on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. Arriving officers began CPR and rendered aid. Despite first aid efforts of the police officers and members of the San Francisco Fire Department, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide Inspectors developed information leading to the arrest of Jamoud Greer, male, 22, of San Francisco. Greer was taken into custody on the 2000 block of O’Farrell Street on May 31, 2015 at 3:00PM by officers from Bayview Station. Greer and the victim were friends and Police Investigators believe they had been in a dispute prior to the shooting. A booking photo accompanies this press release.
