SFPD Make Arrest in Child Pornography Investigation

As the result of an investigation conducted by the San Francisco Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC) a search warrant was secured for an address on the 300 block of Capp Street.On June 30, 2015 at 4:15 PM, numerous officers and investigators from the San Francisco Police Department served the search warrant on Capp Street. During the service of the search warrant, investigators located a laptop computer which contained dozens of child pornography videos depicting pubescent and prepubescent juvenile minors engaged in sexual acts. Investigators found videos depicting young children engaged in sexual acts with adults.Juan Crisanto-Ramirez, male, 35, San Francisco, was placed into custody. During the investigation it was determined that Crisanto-Ramirez was engaging in sexually explicit internet “chats” with numerous underage teenage girls through various chat messenger applications. Crisanto-Ramirez was booked on the following charges: distribution of child pornography, possession of more than 600 images of child pornography, sending harmful material to a minor and production of child pornography, all felony charges.
