Brazen Commercial Burglary Caught On Video

On November 11, 2015 at 5:25 PM, an unknown suspect entered an optometry office on the 1300 block of Polk St in the City’s Polk Gulch neighborhood and stole several pair of high end sunglasses. Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the office and walking directly to the sunglass counter and then escaping with merchandise totaling over $900.00.

The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the sunglass bandit. The video shows clear images of the suspect who appears to be a black male approximately 5’08” 150 lbs. with brown hair. The suspect is seen wearing a black beanie, dark grey jacket, dark jeans, and carrying a black backpack.
