Armed Robbery Crew, "Green Glove Bandits" Arrest by SFPD

On November 19, 2015, the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Investigations Division arrested “The Green Gloved Bandits.” So named because of the gloves they wore during the robberies, The Green Glove Bandits are suspected of committing over 20 armed robberies throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area since May 2015. The Bandits are suspected of committing at least six armed robberies in San Francisco.

The SFPD Special Investigations Division had been conducting an around the clock surveillance of the robbery crew. On November 19th, the Bandits committed an armed robbery of a gas station on the 2100 block of Orchard in San Leandro. The Bandits were then taken into custody by San Francisco Police Officers from the following units: Special Investigations Division, Tactical Unit, Major Crimes Division, Gang Task Force, Northern Police Station Street Crimes Unit, Narcotics Division, and Tenderloin Station Investigative Team.

LaCarl Dow, male, 44 of San Leandro and NamonTaylor, male, 37 of San Francisco were booked into the Alameda County Jail on robbery charges. While an arrest was made, this is an ongoing investigation that will require coordination by law enforcement in various jurisdictions. No booking photo will be released due to pending identification matters.
