SFPD Murder Suspect Caught in Richmond, CA

The San Francisco Police Department investigated a homicide that occurred on June 13th, 2014, at approximately 9:15 AM in San Francisco’s Mission District.  Homicide victim, Dominic Anderson, 25 years old, was shot in the area of 15th and Mission Streets where he was found by officers.  Medics were immediately called to the scene and transported Mr. Anderson to San Francisco General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.Investigators from our Homicide Unit in the Major Crimes Division worked tirelessly to identify San Francisco resident, Justin Howard, 25 years old, as the person responsible for Mr. Anderson’s death.  On July 9, Howard was located and arrested at his girlfriend’s house in Richmond, CA by the San Francisco Police Department.Although there has been an arrest made, investigators are asking anyone with information on this case to contact the SFPD.  It can be done anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.   There is no booking photo available at this time, because of the pending identification matters.
