SFPD Make Arrest in Taraval District Homicide

On October 11, 2015 at approximately 8:07 AM, San Francisco Police responded to the 100 block of Broad Street on the report of a possible shooting victim at a commercial establishment. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. San Francisco Fire Department Medics transported the victim to the hospital where ultimately he succumbed to his injuries. From evidence gathered at the crime scene, officers were able to identify suspects and determined the victim was shot and killed during the commission of a commercial burglary.

On October 30, 2015, investigators from the SFPD Homicide Unit along with members of the Oakland Police Department conducted a joint surveillance operation in Oakland. A search warrant was served and two suspects were taken into custody without incident:

Justin Irvin, 36 years old male, Oakland resident, arrested on charges of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, and burglary.

Angel Grayson, 27 years old female, Oakland resident, arrested on charges of charges of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, and burglary.

Both suspects were booked at San Francisco County Jail. Due to pending identification matters, booking photos for Irvin and Grayson will not be released at this time.
