SFPD Make Arrest in July 25th Homicide

San Francisco Police have made an arrest in the July 25, 2015 shooting homicide that occurred on the 100 block of Apollo. In that incident, officers responded to a shooting in the garage of a residence. Officers located Lisa Broussard, 43, female of San Francisco unconscious on the floor. Officers summoned an ambulance and rendered aid. Broussard had a gunshot wound on her upper torso was pronounced dead at the scene.

Through the course of their investigation, San Francisco Police Homicide Investigators developed probable cause to arrest Everick Stephenson, 32, of San Francisco. Stephenson was located in San Leandro, CA where he was taken into custody. He was later booked into San Francisco County Jail. Stephenson and Broussard had been in a dating relationship for over one year. Stephenson was booked on the following charges: murder, felony domestic violence, being a felon in possession of a firearm and a parole violation. A booking photo accompanies this press release.
