SFPD Investigates Tenderloin District Homicide 24-038

On April 13, 2024, at approximately 4:48 a.m., San Francisco Police Officers from Tenderloin Station responded to the area of 6th and Jessie Streets regarding a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and rendered aid. Paramedics responded to the scene to transport the victim to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of the medical staff, the victim succumbed to their injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital.

The SFPD Homicide detail are leading the investigation.
