SFPD Investigates Homicide in the Tenderloin District 24-076

On July 19, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., San Francisco Police Officers from Tenderloin Station responded to the unit block of 6th Street regarding a possible shooting

 

Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim suffering from stab wounds and an adult male victim with gunshot wounds.  Officers rendered aid to both victims and medics transported them to a local hospital.  Despite lifesaving efforts of first responders and medical staff, the male victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital.

 

The SFPD Homicide Detail responded to the scene and is leading this investigation.
