SFPD Investigates Ellis and Hyde Streets Homicide 23-019

On February 14, 2023, at approximately 1:12 a.m., San Francisco Police Officers assigned to Tenderloin Station responded to the area of Ellis and Hyde Streets regarding a stabbing.  

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. The officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. Despite the life-saving efforts of the first responders, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. 

The SFPD Homicide Detail responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
